Oakleigh South Primary School is located in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

They introduced Renaissance over 15 years ago to students from Grade 2-6.

Students use STAR Reading, Accelerated Reader and the digital book platform myON.

They introduced myON in 2018 and have embedded the program into their curriculum with great success. The introduction of myON has also helped reluctant readers build their passion for reading and given them more variety to read from.

Renaissance data forms their formative and summative assessment. They have seen consistent growth in Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation.

Renaissance programs such as AR and myON have supported the school’s teaching and learning program during remote learning and continue to support parents during such challenging times.
