How It Works

  1. Register – Open to eligible schools in Australia and New Zealand (one class per school). Closes 30th of April, 2025.
  2. Challenge Start – Students take an initial Star Reading assessment.
  3. Daily Reading – Read for 15 minutes daily using MyON or the school library.
  4. Final Assessment – Complete a final Star Reading assessment.
  5. Winner Announcement – The winner will be announced on the 21st of July, 2025.

Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions 

  1. Eligibility:
    1. Open to all Australian and New Zealand schools who are not currently Renaissance customers.
    2. Only one class (Capped at 35 students) per school may enter.
  2. Registration: Must be completed before April 30, 2025.
  3. Participation Requirements:
    1. Attend the Kickoff Webinar.
    2. Conduct initial and final Star Reading assessments.
    3. Ensure students read for at least 15 minutes per day using MyON.
  4. Winner Selection: Renaissance will review the eligible participants and a winner will be determined based on highest gross average reading improvement between the initial and final Star Reading assessments.
  5. Prizes:
    1. Primary Division
      1. Winner will receive a 3D (Creality Ender-3 V3 SE) printer and $1,500 Renaissance credit.
      2. Runner up will receive $500 Renaissance Credits
    2. Secondary Division
      1. Winner will receive a 3D (Creality Ender-3 V3 SE) printer and $1,500 Renaissance credit.
      2. Runner up will receive $500 Renaissance Credits
  6. Disqualification: Failure to complete both initial and final Star Reading assessments or participate in the challenge may result in disqualification.
  7. Notification of Winner: Winner and runner-up will be notified via email and phone call. Winner must accept the prize in order to receive the prize. If no acceptance is received within five (5) business days of notification, the prize will be awarded to the runner-up, and the secondary runner-up will receive the runner-up prize.
  8. Privacy:
    1. Data collected during the challenge will be used internally by Renaissance to track progress and will be handled by Renaissance’s privacy policy.
    2.  Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Renaissance website: http://www.renaissance.com/privacy-policy/
  9. Renaissance Credits can be used to purchase any Renaissance Learning Australia Products.
  10. Renaissance Credits cannot be refunded in cash if the credit was not fully used.
  11. Renaissance Credit Cannot be exchanged into cash.
  12. Renaissance Credit is Valid for 3 months upon issue date.
